On-chain smart money intelligence for crypto markets.
SmartMoneyTracker is an analytics utility that monitors publicly available blockchain data to identify when wallets with verified profitable track records buy into tokens. Wallets are verified against on-chain profitability data (Birdeye PnL for Solana, cost-basis analysis for EVM). It is not a trading bot, not financial advice, and not a trading signal service. It is a research tool to help you observe what experienced on-chain participants are doing.
We scan trending tokens and profitable trades on-chain to find wallets with consistent winning track records. Only wallets that pass quality and win-rate thresholds are tracked.
Every 20 minutes, we scan all tracked wallets for new token purchases. When a wallet buys something new, we evaluate the token.
Each buy is scored across 4 weighted dimensions plus token fundamentals (see below). Tokens that pass quality gates appear on the dashboard with a virality score from 1-10.
We continuously monitor whether smart wallets hold or sell. When wallets exit, tokens move to "Decline" or "Bin" so you see the full lifecycle.
SmartMoneyTracker V4 gives you two independent scores for every alert — one measuring smart money interest, one measuring token safety.
Our Virality Score measures one thing: how interested are verified wallets in this token? Wallets are verified against on-chain profitability data. Unverified wallets receive lower quality scores, reducing their impact on alerts. The score reflects:
We look at each wallet's win rate, profit history, trade sizes, and wallet balance. A Battle Tested whale with 65% win rate dropping $20K carries far more weight than a Probationary wallet buying $50.
When multiple independent profitable wallets buy the same token, that's the strongest signal we track. One wallet is interesting. Three is significant. Five is rare and worth paying attention to.
Size matters. When smart money goes big, they're confident. We measure the average buy size across all tracked wallets in the token.
Virality Score Guide:
The Risk Score measures the token itself, completely independent of who's buying it.
Deep liquidity, high market cap, established token, clean contract.
Good fundamentals, reasonable liquidity.
Newer token, lower liquidity, some flags.
Low liquidity, micro cap, or concerning flags (mintable, declining).
Dev exits, pulled liquidity, or honeypot indicators.
Risk flags shown on each alert:
Risk Score Color Coding:
Smart money doesn't only buy safe tokens. Often the biggest wins come from early, risky plays that proven traders spot before anyone else.
A Virality 8 / Risk 3 alert means: multiple verified wallets are buying a risky new token. That could be a big move — or a rug. We give you both pieces of information. You decide.
Multiple proven wallets buying a risky new token.
One wallet bought an established token.
Strong convergence on a solid token.
Honest disclaimer: This is a signal tool, not financial advice. Most meme tokens lose value regardless of score. Even high-virality, low-risk alerts can and do lose. The system tracks its own outcomes transparently — check the dashboard for real win rates. Use this data as one input in your own research, not as a buy signal.
Every token flows through four stages based on real-time on-chain data:
HIGH requires: Liquidity > $10K, price not dropping > 15%, no micro-buy swarms (unless 5+ wallets converge), no rug warnings, market cap > $75K, score above tier threshold.
DECLINE triggers: Price down 20%+, 50%+ smart money exit ratio (70%+ bypasses grace period), dev moved tokens with < $50K liquidity, very low liquidity (< $5K) after 60 min. New tokens (< 4h) are given a grace period before these triggers apply.
BIN triggers: Liquidity pulled, dev exited, 100% smart money exit, price crashed 90%+, token older than 30 min with < $1K liquidity. New tokens (< 4h) are exempt from the low-liquidity bin trigger to allow time for data to populate. Once binned, tokens must remain in the bin for at least 7 days before they can recover.
Wallets are ranked into three tiers based on their verified on-chain performance:
High quality score, strong win rate, verified profitable exits across many trades.
Good quality score and decent win rate, but shorter track record than Battle Tested. Could move up or down as more data comes in.
New or unproven wallets. Recently discovered from trending tokens or profit leaderboards. Alerts from probationary wallets receive a scoring penalty. They get promoted or removed based on outcomes.
In V4, every alert card shows two scores side by side. The Virality Score (smart money interest) and the Risk Score (token safety) are displayed independently so you can quickly assess both dimensions. Virality uses the color scale: gray (1-3), blue (4-6), green (7-8), gold (9-10). Risk uses: green (8-10), amber (5-7), orange (3-4), red (1-2). Additionally, risk flag pills appear below the scores — small colored badges like low liquidity micro cap that give you an at-a-glance view of what specific risk factors are present.
The scrolling bar at the top shows the 15 most recent non-bin alerts. Each item shows: tier emoji, token symbol, virality score (colour-coded: green ≥ 7, amber ≥ 4, red < 4), risk score, chain, wallet count, and time since alert.
These flags are detected automatically and affect scoring. They may not always be visible on the card but influence where the token appears:
Not every wallet that makes money is "smart money." We apply strict filters:
SmartMoneyTracker is a market research utility. It helps you see what experienced on-chain participants are doing so you can factor that into your own research. Always DYOR. See our full disclaimer for more.
Chain coverage depends on block explorer API availability. Wallet scanning uses Etherscan V2 (supports all EVM chains). Token data is sourced from DexScreener.
